Our adventure aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas has officially begun! From a lively sail-away party to hosting an unforgettable pub crawl, here’s how we kicked off our 4-night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas.

A Smooth Start Despite the Rain

Boarding day at Port Everglades couldn’t have gone better. Even with a bit of rain, the excitement in the air was electric. The process was seamless, and the cruise staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was ready to start their vacation.

While the rain moved the sail-away party indoors to the Promenade, it didn’t stop the celebration. Music, drinks, and laughter filled the air as we toasted to the start of an incredible journey. Watching the coastline fade away from the ship’s sparkling interior was a moment we’ll never forget.

A Perfect Start with Lunch

After settling in, we headed straight for a Key member lunch. It was a relaxed and delicious way to ease into the day, with a menu that didn’t disappoint. Every bite felt like a celebration of the journey ahead.

The Pub Crawl Begins

By 1 p.m., it was time for the main event: our **Liberty of the Seas Pub Crawl**! Hosting this event was an absolute blast. We brought together an energetic group of fellow cruisers, and the fun kicked off immediately.

Each bar we visited offered something unique—tropical cocktails, cozy atmospheres, and plenty of laughter. The best part? Meeting new friends who are just as ready to embrace the adventure as we are. It’s safe to say the pub crawl set the tone for an amazing cruise.

The day ended on a high note with dinner in the Main Dining Room. The highlight? A beautifully cooked prime rib that melted in your mouth. Pair that with exceptional service and lively conversation, and it was the perfect way to wind down after an eventful first day.
